Lovingly and meticoulously restored in 1993. AAA Four Diamond Award winner for the past 13 years. Key features include original 3 fireplaces, original maple and wide pine plank flooring, contemporary wormy chesnut archways, beams, and door doorframes. Set on 11 wooded acres inside Boone, with waterfall, stream, gazebo, 12 perennial gardens, original barn, and wrap around porch on 3 sides of the house with rocking chairs . All modern amenities including WIFI, TV and DVD VHS players and libraries, complimentary beer, wine,lemonade and sodas. Close to Blue Ridge Pkwy, skiing at Beech and Sugar Mountains, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Linville Falls. Check-in is at 3 PM.
